Open Minds Initiative
Our Open Minds Initiative provides inmates with access to books, fostering literacy, education, and open-mindedness, while also offering High School Equivalency (HSE) support and Life Skills to personal responsibility.
BowWow
Our Books on Wheels program (BowWow) brings free library services directly to homebound and underserved residents of Barry County, ensuring seniors and others with limited mobility have access to literature.
Wolfner Library
The Wolfner Library provides free library services to individuals who are unable to read standard print due to visual, physical, or reading disabilities. Through this partnership, we help eligible individuals register and gain access to a wide range of accessible materials.
Educational Opportunities
Community Care Coalition is dedicated to preparing the youth of Barry County for a successful future by providing top-notch educational resources, college preparation assistance, and support for academic achievement.
Who We Are
Community Care Coalition Barry County is a dedicated organization founded by four passionate individuals united by a commitment to support and uplift Barry County. Through educational initiatives, literacy promotion, resource access, and community events, they serve the underserved and address local needs, strengthening families and fostering unity. With each project, the Coalition seeks to create meaningful connections and a lasting positive impact in the lives of community members.
