Teresa Phillips is a longtime Barry County resident with a career in the corporate legal field and a lifelong commitment to learning and growth. Through her work with the Community Care Coalition, she is dedicated to offering a hand up and creating meaningful opportunities for those in her community. She also cherishes her roles as a devoted wife for 30 years, a mother to two sons, and grandmother

I am grateful to serve as a board member for the Community Care Coalition of Barry County. I live in Cassville with my husband of six years, our four-year-old daughter, our baby boy, and our cat, Willow. In my free time, I enjoy singing, reading, and making memories with my family—especially when we’re discovering new places together! I’m passionate about improving access to education and reading resources and supporting individuals in our community who may be underserved. Being able to work alongside dedicated board members and community partners to make a meaningful difference is something I truly value.

Cheryl Williams has called Barry County home for nearly 50 years after growing up in a military family and traveling extensively during her childhood. Following college, she began a 26-year teaching career. She later continued her passion for education and community service at the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library, where she served as Supervisor of the Cassville Branch until her retirement in 2025. Cheryl now dedicates much of her time as a board officer and teacher with the Community Care Coalition, continuing her commitment to serving others and fostering a lifelong love of learning.

 Dean has lived in Barry County for the last 10 years and loves calling Cassville home. I am so fortunate to work alongside a Board of Directors who have the same passion and dedication for literacy and education in our community! As a full time teacher, I believe education is one of the most powerful tools you can have in your toolbox! When I am not working, I enjoy being outside, riding around with the top and doors off my jeep, fishing, or coaching baseball for three and four year olds.
